The Author
Garry Burnett was educated at Essex and Hull universities and has spent
twenty years working in Yorkshire schools as head of English, LEA adviser and project leader for ‘Learning to Learn - Research and Development’. He is currently an Advanced Skills teacher at Malet Lambert School in Hull and contributes regularly to Hull University’s PGCE and CPD programmes, where he has also been involved in the development and delivery of the new Learning Pathways MA. Through his active involvement in the national ‘Campaign for Learning’ Garry has had a wide experience of working with teachers, pupils and parents on ‘Learning to Learn’ and has led training sessions at local, national and international level.
